Product Details
Although strongly associated with desserts, yoghurts, pies and crumbles, rhubarb is not a fruit – it is, in fact, an herbaceous plant. Rhubarb has large green leaves that lead to red or sometimes dark pink stalks that are fibrous and crunchy when raw, but turn soft and pulpy when cooked, usually with sugar to combat the sour taste.
