Method
Bake the readymade shortcrust pastry as instructed on the pack in your preferred tart form. Let it cool.
Using a double boiler (alternatively, you can fill a pan with a little water and set the another pan on top), make the ganache by melting the chocolate and stirring frequently.
Add the cream and salt, and whisk until smooth. Let it cool.
Roll out the marzipan sheet (you can roll it a little thinner if preferred) and cut it into the same tart shell shape.
Start assembling the tart by laying the rolled out marzipan on top of the tart crust, add the chocolate ganache on top, then the cherries and garnish with chopped almonds and a sprinkle of icing sugar. Serve immediately.
